I know that this post has been a long overdue but I really think that I need to blog about this since this is one of my highlights this year or shall I say for the last 3 years. Though not all my plans happened during my vacation, I’m still very happy and contented that I get to spend 5 days with my family and friends in Bohol.
So right after my Wednesday shift, that was Thursday 8 o’clock in the morning, we immediately prepare to catch the 10:15 AM shipping schedule of Jadestar Shipping lines. It would have been more fun if we took the Vista accommodation since you get to see the ocean and the islands in the whole duration of the voyage plus having to feel the salty ocean air. But since we took the kids with us, taking the Mabuhay accomodation is more convenient and also for added safety for the kids. But we sure spent some time out taking pictures of the beautiful ocean scenery.
After taking several rides(we chose to ride the tricycle instead of the overloaded jeepneys to take us to our place), We finally arrive to the place where I spent my childhood, Barangay “Cantoyoc, Clarin, Bohol” Our place has a unique name but there’s a story behind that. It was raining when we arrived and I have to take off my sandals so it won’t get soaked with mud and get damaged. Nothing has really change, this was also one of our problem during rainy seasons when I was still studying elementary and high school. But I admit that there are improvements but very minimal.
I was really happy seeing the people in our place, specially my relatives and grandparents. And the feeling of being in the place where you grow up is just so warm. And because it’s also our Barangay fiesta, a lot of friends and relatives came… Well I don’t really have the time to narrate everything, just checkout the pictures below…
